Case Study: Crown & Bridge — Full Posterior Reconstruction with Zirconia
A long-standing referring practice contacted Rodler Dentlab with a demanding posterior reconstruction case involving a patient with multiple failing restorations, fractured teeth, and compromised occlusion across the upper and lower quadrants. The patient had experienced years of sensitivity, discomfort, and difficulty chewing, and the practice required a laboratory partner capable of delivering a comprehensive crown and bridge solution with exceptional accuracy and aesthetic integration.
Rodler Dentlab designed and fabricated a full series of monolithic zirconia crowns and a three-unit zirconia bridge, engineered to restore the patient’s occlusion and deliver long-term functional reliability. Detailed study models and a diagnostic wax-up were produced prior to fabrication, allowing the referring clinician and patient to preview and approve the planned outcome before any irreversible preparation work commenced. Each restoration was individually stained and characterised to achieve a natural appearance that complemented the existing dentition, with careful attention to occlusal contacts, marginal fit, and interproximal contacts throughout the fabrication process.
The completed restorations delivered a precise, passive fit across all units with excellent occlusal balance. The practice reported a seamless fit appointment with no adjustments required, and the patient experienced immediate relief from sensitivity and a full restoration of comfortable chewing function.
This case exemplifies Rodler Dentlab’s commitment to clinical precision, collaborative workflow, and the uncompromising craftsmanship that has defined our laboratory for over 42 years.
